Tracking e-Resilience in North and Central Asia, ESCAP (2023)

ESCAP secretariat updated its E-Resilience Dashboard in Power BI format in 2023 (published in 2023, access here) to assess crisis preparedness through seamless digital connectivity to promote a digital policy environment and respond to recommendations of the SPECA Working Group on Innovation and Technology for Sustainable Development (2020- 2023). This APIS working paper series (access here) presents an analysis of data to brief policy implementation, assessed in 2020-2022 in the six economies of North and Central Asia (NCA), namely e-resilience profiles of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Each of the NCA country has a different level of ICT infrastructure development, and each has strengths and challenges in performing each of the five pillars in 2022. Opportunities for collaboration in this regard are highlighted in respective sections.
